Lou Rawls, I've said before, is probably one of the most over-looked singers in American
music...Gospel, jazz, blues, soul,even pop, he did it all. Loved his work with Ray Charles
too...
It's an excellent lp. More of a raw sound than the soon-to-come Philly years, and I just LOVE the largely male background singers.Quote:

Definitely will give this a spin. My father LOVED Lou Rawls and I've grown to appreciate his voice and style. I don't know how everyone else feels but I'm in love with my streaming service.
