Great tribute to Leon.
Such an underrated genius.
That entire I Want You album was a cold masterpiece!!!
It was like Marvin & Leon was one... it's likely if Marvin had lived and conquered his demons, he would've been like Leon, still recording with him and making some more artistic triumphs.
He didn't stop either. "Why I Came To California" is in 'forever' rotation on my MP3. Other faves are the AtJazz remix of "On The Beach" and "Club Sashay." Not to mention the evergreens he did with Minnie Riperton, Gloria Lynne and Melissa Manchester.
