As we leave 2021 and move into 2022

2021 was a year that is marked with the loss of Mary Wilson. For Supremes fans, that meant a loss that is irreversible and painful. Yet, it also brought the release of her solo album and some unreleased songs. We thought this was never going to happen. We are awaiting her Motown Anthology in CD form to hopefully be released this month. Diana Ross released her first CD in 13 years. Many fans were excited to finally have this as well. Most of the songs were slower ballads about universal love and healing the World. Both Diana and Mary have always had songs about healing the world all the way back to 1970 with Reach out and touch and Everybody's got the right to love. So, with our loss we also received music. Diana Ross may tour again. The Former Ladies of the Supremes has a New Years concert in Alaska. We have lost the heart of the Supremes but we still have music to celebrate. No, it is not the same. But I will continue to look positively and celebrate the music in 2022.
