I thought this could be a place to post videos of covers of tunes Ms Ross and/or members of the Supremes partook in. I found this awesome cover of Waiting in the Wings:

Donna sounds fantastic singing Reflections. I think her voice would suit the majority of Diana Ross/Supremes songs.

The Tymes - "Love Child"
This was probably recorded in the Fall of 1969 and released on January 13, 1970--coincidentally just before the final show of DRATS. This one took me by surprise when I first heard it a few years ago. Knowing the DRATS' version, you think it may be playing at the wrong speed, but... it's right! It starts off and builds--and, of course, it's got soul and you have to remind yourself that these are the same guys who gently crooned through "So Much In Love" 6 years earlier! With that speed thing, it makes me wonder whether producer Billy Jackson or someone in the Tymes may have accidentally played the DRATS' single version on 33rpm and discovered that might take it into a key the guys could sing it in comfortably? There aren't many covers of Sups/DRATS songs that I think work really well with guys, but... for me, this one works. As a B-side, it never charted, but I give it a thumbs up. Certainly better than Sweet Sensation's cover of the song, IMO!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZLXaGMAZWA

The Tymes slowed-down version of "Love Child" reminds me of the time I inadvertently played the "Upside Down" 45 on 33. It was so eerie I had to listen to the whole song. Almost satanic! lol
Loving the Tymes & Ralph Carter, both versions were new to me.
Both of Margie's covers are great. I've always wondered if she was a Supremes fan.
Surprisingly, I kind of like Soft Cell's "Where Did Our Love Go", mostly because of the track.
I had never heard the Manhattan Transfer's cover of "Where". I love them but I'm mostly familiar with their 80s and 90s output. But I really like this. Figured I would before I even clicked "play".
This is the first version of the song I can recall hearing, yet somehow I recall knowing that the Supremes had it first. Anyway, unlike Dan, I like this version of the song, maybe, just maybe, even more than the Supremes'. Go figure.
The Tymes version was a bit too slow for me. I couldn't get into it.
I never get tired of this one. Reminds me of my childhood. Very specific special memory attached to it. I love it as much as I love the Supremes' version.

This was on the radio all the time back in the day. I had a poster of the Good Girls. They were super fine back then and then still look good today.

This is my favorite cover of "Where Did Our Love Go", one of my absolute most favorite Supremes' songs. I never heard this back in the day, that I can recall. Only discovered it about a decade ago. I've always been crazy about Barbara's voice.

Vanilla Fudge - You keep me hangin on
JR Walker - Come see about me
Herb Albert & Tijuana Brass - The Happening
Phil Collins - You Can't Hurry Love
might also be interesting to include sampling.
That Dame cover isn't Color My World Blue but Give Out but Don't give up, unless they used the music of Give Out but are singing the lyrics of Color in their language!
Oh dear that make me nervous
I feel as if I might vomit
Now that is hella good!

You can't beat the backing band{s} of Motown but I think the treatment of Dusty's vocal works better for the arrangement than Diana's.
