He was certainly for the working person. Despite his status, he still lived in Baltimore with average working people. He will surely be missed. He really cared about the public. It is a tragedy the way he was criticized lately. It is totally inappropriate and uncalled for.

I had no idea that he was only 68. I guess his illness and the stress of Washington aged him. Still, he was a great man and tried to bring people together regardless of what "some" have said. Rest in peace Mr. Cummings and thank you!
This one hurts like hell. Only two years older than my eldest sibling. He was such a tireless warrior. Rest in power.
