Matrix "Fire and Rain" RARE EARTH

Those Big Pink CDs containing Rare Earth label albums have been a revelation for me.

There is some great stuff, not just on the Big Pink releases either - I really enjoy The Pretty Things albums [[never thought I would) released on Repertoire and Snapper.

This is one of my favourite tracks from Matrix, and it's my go to version of the song which I love to hear through my headphones. A beautiful rendition of the James Taylor composition.

Matrix were Dino Fekaris, Nick Zesses and Tom Baird and their Rare Earth released self titled album is from 1972. I think the Big Pink CD is great!

Thank you for your posts about RARE EARTH lps on cds. I had missed every Big Pink cd hadn't you keep us updated.
I agree there are lots of great surprises on RARE EARTH.

I bought all of the Big Pink releases from the Rare Earth label. However, I think Universal must have put a stop to these releases, since the site I used to buy from will no longer sell Big Pink releases.
