Detroit Comes to the UK

We will be turning part of Lincolnshire on the east coast of the UK into a little piece of Detroit this June.

Friday June 7th to Sunday June 8th sees the 27th Cleethorpes Soul Weekender. The longest running Soul Weekender in the world

Performing live, and direct from Detroit, will be Willie Jones and Carolyn Crawford AND for the first time ever the live acts will be backed by Detroit musicians - Ronnie Nelson's TFO band.

So the whole live music experience will be 100% Detroit with live performances on both Friday and Saturday.

A great venue, Top DJ's and a fantastic music policy add to the flavour for the weekend.

That's great Phil. Make sure the guitarist gets the back beats on the two and four and the tambourinist rattles loudly :-) Accompanying a Detroit drummer will nail it! The rhythm section is the heart beat as you know. Best of luck with the event.

They will nail it. All the band live and perform in Detroit every week.

They're the guys we use for the Detroit A Go Go event at Berts in Eastern market every year
