I'm shocked that[rob-k]didn't get this one,but here goes...in 1959 when bonanza went on the air an actor named[guy williams] was first chosen for the role of adam cartwright but he was also offered the starring role in a disney series called[zorro]well williams chose [zorro]and pernell roberts became[adam],now talk about irony five years later pernell roberts wanted out of the series and guy williams for a short time was added to the cast as[will cartwright]a cousin but did stay in part because robert's contract tied him to the show for another season and according to guy williams,he didn't feel welcome by the cast members.
