***YOUR OLD SDF FORUM PASSWORD WILL NOT WORK HERE. YOU MUST RESET IT.***

Dear SDF members,

Due to obsolescence of the old forum software we have been forceD to move to a new forum software. We were able to save your usernames, email addresses and post counts when we migrated to this new forum. However we could not save the passwords as they were encrypted. Therefore you will need to go through a simple password recovery process.

To post on the forum, you must CLICK HERE to go to password recovery to get a new password. Here is what will happen.

1. You enter your email address and press the 'Request Username / Password Now" button.
   
   • If your email address is in our database, you will receive an email containing a link to click to recover it. This is to confirm you are who you say you are. **If you don't receive the email be sure to check that it didn't end up in junk mail or some other spam trap.**
   • When you click the link a second email containing your username and password will be sent to you. You will be able to login and post. You will also be able to go to My Profile and reset the password to something different, if you wish.
   
   
2. If your email address is NOT in our database, you will be instructed to contact us, telling us you old SDF username and the email address you wish to now use. We will set up your account and send you a new password.
3. If you are new to this forum and wish to join, click <a href="http://soulfuldetroit.com/register.php">register</a> at the top of the page.
