A comment on yesterday's Phoodle word: CACAO.
This word along with COCOA have always challenged me. When I first started doing Wordle, and Phoodle, I did a lot of practice and archived games, as well as Dordle, Quordle etc.
CACAO and COCOA always stumped me. I assume it's because 2 of the letters are repeated, whether it's the C and A in CACAO, or the C and O in COCOA. It gets me every time. It takes me forever to solve and then it's like a DOH! moment when I realize it's such a common word.
Anyone else have this same problem with these words? Or is there a word that always stumps you?
Repeating vowels that are not together is always a stumper. Words ending a vowel that is not an "E" is another killer. Do you guys ever watch "Wheel of Fortune?" We started watching it waiting for "Jeopardy." Our experience with Phrazle pays off. However, what they call a phrase is often disturbing.
