Some days Connections is very frustrating. I'm only disappointed in myself if the "connections" should have been more obvious to me, or if I was too quick to hit submit without double-checking my response. If it is something, that as an older person, I would not be aware of in the culture, like current movies, entertainers or technology, or if it so absurd as the first four letters of this or that, then I don't get too bothered.Quote:

I often attempt the puzzles in the middle of the night, due to regular bouts of insomnia. I feel if I can solve Connections in the middle of the night then it was a fairly easy puzzle that day. I use Jerry's guideline that if I have two incorrect attempts then I put the puzzle to bed for later in the day, then I shut my light off and try to get more sleep myself.
