My stash says otherwise..............:p
Good to know it's still there, talking to you....
There's a devil in the bottle.
Funny how it disappears the moment the bottle is emptied:confused:
Last year I couldn't make up my mind whether to have my wine chilled or not, so I just had to mull it over.
Your wine sounds like one I could warm, too
Just as long as you don't beat me to the punch!
Rumour has it that The Wells have run dry, so I Don't Want To Take A Chance.
Still, westgrand..............:p
I prefer my wine still, and my mineral water sparkling.....
No CO2 here!!
Definitely a favourite here, and is naturally produced. Even if the still variety is chilled, I might as well be drinking tap water....
Of course, the bubbles of champagne are an attractive alternative....:)
Fizzy drinks often have undesirable results.
Where are you putting them?
Straight down the hatch.
Oh, well, perhaps that's the problem, which leads to 'undesirable results'.
Mind you, I would agree that one burp of anything fizzy can feel like your head's going to explode....
...........or the other end, westgrand;)
Hadn't noticed that happen to me, moe - not yet, anyway!
A little of it is very good for toning up the face. These days, I would probably need the whole bottle!
Move aside........you are not the only one!!:D
I wet shave my face in the mornings, and increasingly find I then have to check closely in a hand mirror, to see if I've missed any stubble.
Reminder to self : always remember never to place the mirror where I'm then obliged to peer downwards. It looks just as if someone has let all the air out of my face..... :[[
Don't look in the mirror. It's that easy!!
Shaving is so boring. Not using a mirror might make it more exciting.
Not when you're asked later in the day , "Did you shave this morning?" or "Did you know you've cut yourself?", it isnt....
For the O'Jays, Christmas and New Year have both been cancelled.

'Postponement' seems so much more attractive and optimistic a word...:)
Maybe..............but is the food still here???
I guess we can live without the feeling of being loved, but not without food - so the food should definitely be here.
If that doesn't quite do the trick, a strong shot or two of something liquid to accompany it would then seem to be in order...
You two need to come over, westgrand: as Wallace & Grommit would say: we'd have
"A GRAND DAY OUT!!"
Well, if your immigration officials are on the ball, I for one will be refused entry for being far too sensible.
So, I could perhaps think about a covert operation to reach the US by private jet, transfer to a high speed helicopter, and then be lowered onto West Grand Boulevard, for a tour of the Museum.....
Why are US immigration officials always so surly? They're not very good for PR.
Because they think they can flex their muscles and be horse's behinds. I've had very experiences with officials abroad!
I guess they have to view everyone as a potential threat - even when 99% of them aren't....
But do they even know the meaning of the word "smile"? Every other official I've ever met has at least pretended to be civil.
Agreed! Who knows what's going on in their heads?
Most worrying of all, not even they do....
We can only hope that 2014 will be brighter for all!!!:D
Yes, always look for the bright side!
On the subject of 2014, did we make any New Year's resolutions?
None that haven't already been broken.
That makes me a little more comfortable - although I'll feel better when I lose these few pounds in weight gained over the last couple of weeks in 2013.
I'm due for a blood test, and I think my cholesterol will have gone sky high.
