Good news and bad news on the Oz front:
Good news is I'm not going to spend more than a few minutes on the Dolphins and Falcons message boards this week because they're pretty toxic after bad or avoidable losses. Fins loss was bad; Falcons loss was avoidable. So, I can do a few other things with my time.
Bad news is I would add to the toxicity if was there and I'm the perpetual optimist. When's the NBA season starting, again?
It's only the first game for everyone! Yes, the Steelers won BUT [as Patrick Queen said} the defense played like s**t. A true statement if there was ever one.

DA BEARS ARE IN TROUBLE, THEIR SUPERSTAR QB HAS SOME WORK TO DO...THE RAVENS MAY BE OVERRATED BUT THE BILLS AIN'T, AND AS MUCH AS IT HURTS ME TO SAY THIS MsM's BOYZ MAY SNEAK UP ON SOME FOLKS, SAN FRAN MAY HAVE TOO MANY INJURIES TO OVERCOME...AND I LIKE THE KID ON THE VIKINGS.
The Bears will be fine. Williams played well enough to win but the coaches have their work cut out for them. Detroit never got untracked on Sunday and it looks like they're missing the two coordinators who are now coaching other teams. Atlanta played well enough to win. Miami played poorly enough to be 32nd in the power rankings. Dallas could/should have won and looked remarkably good. I didn't watch any of the Steelers' game or highlights. It's early enough that anything that appears to be broken can still be fixed for everybody.
Absolutely right, Jerry. It's only the first game. But I saw those injuries on the 49ers.
Steelers I believe just acquired Jabril Peppers. Our safety is out with a knee injury, as is our first round pick Harmon. But boy that Ravens/Bills was a good one!
Ravens v Bills and then, Vikings v Bears, gave the viewers what they wanted. Several games came down to the last seconds this week.
And tonight's game will be a good one, too!!!!!!
