A story I've heard hundreds of time over the last 25 years. David loves to tell it. I've read a
number of his books and enjoyed them for the most part but sometimes the way the man
likes to interject himself into the lives of his already established before he met them subjects
gets to be a little....you know what I mean...Etta James, BB King, even Aretha Franklin whom
he got back at by publishing a second book on her, informative yes, but pointedly a lot less
flattering...
I know what you mean . I have felt the same way.
