Smokey's Soultown on Sirius XM--thoughts?

I don't subscribe to Sirius XM, but whenever I travel and rent a car, I do my best to make sure the vehicle has Sirius XM so I can play it. In years past I would sometime listen to Soultown channel on the service and enjoyed the music and the DJs. I just got back from another vacation and this time I noticed that Sirius has rebranded Soultown as "Smokey's Soultown". The music is the same, but the DJs seem to be gone, and replaced with Smokey Robinson's remembrances. It's not the same. Especially when I compared it to the classic country Music channel "Willie's Roadhouse". Sure there are recorded bits from Willie Nelson, but there were DJs with a knowledge and love of the music and it made that channel a more rewarding listening experience than "Smokey's Soultown".

What are your thoughts on the rebranded "Soultown" Sirius XM channel?

A little off the beaten path

This October Soulful Detroit will be 23 years old, and except for varying subjects found in the Club House we have always been about music. Time to expand our horizons a bit. Right now, the United States is embroiled in a hot contest for the Presidency. I make no apologies for being a life long Democrat.
How could I not be? I was raised in a Blue Collar family. My father worked for The Ford Motor Company. An uncle was president for the Detroit UAW. My blood runs Blue.

I am interested to know what you forum members think of the situation. I am especially interested in hearing from our friends outside of the United States. Things are rowdy right now, but I am betting on a Democrat blow out making Kamala Harris our next president.

Eddie Kendricks Ebony Affiar: Get The Cream Off The Top

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXeS2GIvvEQ

This is my all time favorite EJK track, some funky Brian Holland stuff. It couldn't get much airplay because of the suggestiveness of the lyrics. As usual Eddie just doesn't move much and his lip synching is off.
