Detroit recording labels
As well as the Ric-Tic releases, there are two on the MAH’s label. [Mike Alonzo Hanks] both by the Magic Tones, M-1037 and M-1038, which both came out in 1968. I’m not sure why only these two singles are listed under Ric-Tic, other than MAH’s was based in Detroit.
In addition to Ric-Tic and Golden World, did Berry Gordy also acquire MAH’s? Releases after 1968 were on the Westbound Records label.
I know that he also acquired Wingate and J&W Records, as well as Inferno and Impact, but are there others?

Four Tops' Soul Spin album
I am not keen on side 2 of the album but I feel side 1 has a couple of strong performances.
Otis Redding Biopic on the way
Otis & Zelma will see the Star Wars and Attack the Block actor play the tragic star with the Till breakout Danielle Deadwyler playing his wife, Zelma.
The drama will follow the success of Redding, whose career included hits such as [[Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay and These Arms of Mine before his death in a 1967 plane crash at the age of 26.
According to Variety, the official description claims the film “celebrates the 10 short years Otis and Zelma had together, and their eternal love story after his passing”. The film comes with the full support of the estate.
After the singer’s death, his widow opened her own booking business, a record store and a nightclub and never remarried. “Never will,” she said to the New York Times in 2022. “I love being Mrs Otis Redding. I’m the only one.”
This month will also see the singer receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Otis & Zelma will be directed by Channing Godfrey Peoples, whose breakout drama Miss Juneteenth premiered to acclaim at the Sundance film festival in 2020............

SDF 2002-2010 archives down
I've been trying to access the Soulful Detroit Forum archives looking for a post, and I noticed the 2004-2010 archives link is no longer working. The domain name [[faac.us) appears to have disappeared.
I remember those posts would even show up on Google until recently. Just wondering if that part of the archive can or will be restored or if it's lost to the digital ether now?
*pardon the error in the title of the post - should be 2004-2010.
