Rita Ross defeated for Detroit 5th District Representative

I wonder what the result MIGHT have been if Miss Ross came to Detroit and campaign for her younger sister. This was really surprising; I expected to see her be victorious.

In the 5th House District, state Rep. Cynthia Johnson, D-Detroit, defeated her main challenger, Rita Ross of Detroit, the youngest sister of Motown great Diana Ross, 65% to 28%, in a three-candidate race, with all precincts reporting.

Berry Gordy Family Tree

I found this very interesting however the picture of Thelma is actually Raynoma. I do not know if there are other inaccuracies but I am sure fellow forum members will point them out if they exist.

Higher And Higher

This Jackie Wilson classic is the most 'non-Motown' Motown record ever and still gets regular radio play here in the UK. It is well known that a lot of Motown session players featured on the recording but is there a definitive list of who actually contributed to the session. Sorry if this has been asked before.

What about "MOTOWN UNRELEASED 1967" ?

It's October and it's time to think about the yearly great "MOTOWN UNRELEASED".
The 1966 version was really great and I hope that the 1967 version will be released at the end of the year as usual.
Does anyone have information?
