Does anyone remember a trio from the 70s called "Hot". They were a pop/soul group who recorded for Big Tree, an Atlantic subsidiary. One of their biggest hits was called "Angel in Your Arms". Is there anything else available by them on CD? |

One of the girls was Gwen Owens!
Thats about all I know as they had a very short lifespan. |

Mike, they had 3 LP's on Big Tree, you can find them all on gemm, and at cheap price. On gemm, there's also a CD, "Not for sale" (???). |

I recorded,Gwen Owens before she got with HOT,
they play the record all the time,on the northen soul stations, the name of the record is "Lies"
I recorded it in the late 60's, at Sigma Sound,here in Philadelphia |

Thanks for all the information on Hot. I will check out the Gemm site. This is a group I have always liked, and I've never found anything on CD by them except for the single I mentioned. |

Hot recorded "Angel in my arms" in Spanish as well as English.I had a copy years ago.Gwen Owens sang us a couple of verses in Spanish when we met her in LA.!I wish I had kept the single.
