Don't know if this is germane, but Ralph Wright, who many of us knew better as Mike Rivers, one of the jocks in the Big-8's heyday from 1967 to 1970, died Monday at his home in Antioch, TN, according to Radio and Records. He was 60. Ralph/Mike also worked at WIBG in the early '70's, and WCAR in the '80's.

We're getting (or at least I am) old, friends.
