Hi all,
Thanks Graham for the info on the Sue Perrin 45. Have you a complete listing of all the GW/RT 45s on all label designs. I can only locate the GW label listing starting with the yellow more familiar one. Although I've collected for 28 years, I am relatively knew to the Detroit 'anorak' stuff so please excuse my ignorance at times!! I think I will be taking more from this forum than I bring to it but, hey, I'll do my best to contribute.
2 questions I would like to ask the forum are:
1. Is there a white demo copy of Rose Batiste - Holding hands - RT 105?
2. Is there a double sided (A/B) white demo copy of Edwin Starr - SOS/I have faith.....RT109
I have the Patti Gilson on a yellow copy already. Many thanks for the offer though.
Regards,
Dave

Only 28 years...
You're still a baby!

I do have the complete listings - I'll post up the early series when I have 5 minutes - I've gotta dash and teach right now - Sunday morning!
I'm sure "Holding Hands" was pressed as a demo. I think my white demo of "SOS" is double sided - it's in Windsor so I can't check it.

nice label scans and disc dating.
this is the guy who tarted up the frank wilson demo into a 'proper issue' lookalike.

I think they've taken the info' from Reg Bartlett's "Off The Record" Motown 45 book.
They don't include the early "100" series - so I'll post it up soon - promise.

Wherever he got the info from, it's an excellent set of useful listings as a quick reference... It's been in my bookmarks for a little while now ;o)
(Also, it's saved me from having to OCR a lot of listings I previously had only on paper!)

Oh my my. Its Lars Nillson......
He goes back to MY days as a teenager...Lars needs a forum topic of his own.
Do you all remember the picture of "I Care About Detroit" on Tamla......That was Lars who did that. Hands up who was fooled!!!
