i read an old article on the fortune label recently and came across references to them using vogue and united sound studios in the early days.

does anyone know where vogue was situated?

While talking to Sheldon Brown, he told me that Fortune used United Sound to record in at times. I got the impression that they did this before moving to the Third Ave. building in the fall of 1956 (and it could have been even before setting up the Linwood storefront).
