Can anybody shed any light on a Joey Delarenzo who did a track called Wake up which Ive seen on a Bell Sound audio disc test pressing.I know its rare,but know nothing of the artist.With thanks.MEL.

He's a caucasian dude who worked with Mike Valvano. "Wake Up..." was on Valvano's Mi-Val label. Joey also had a single on Paula.

Many thanks for that info.Wake up is a very rare item at the moment,I think a guy over here in the U.K. paid around a grand or just over a grand for a copy.Didnt know Mike Valvano was involved,let alone on his label.I have only seen a Bell Sound Test Pressing of it,obviously with no relevent credits etc.on it.Once again,many thanks.MEL.

There's probably up to half a dozen copies in the UK, Mel...one is neatly filed under "M" in my collection...I would point you to the label scan on my site but it's not that clear being silver print on a purple label, but it's there all the same. :-)
Amazed to hear of a Bell (original?!) acetate as it was recorded all in-house, I thought.
I know of one owner who paid 2k for his copy...no, not me I can assure you...the flipside ain't too bad either! ;-)
