Can someone help please with information about this recording.

I have the track on a budget doowop CD compilation.

The singer is not Smokey Robinson but the writers are Hogan/Robinson/Sampson.

Is it THE Miracles?

this is Carl Hogan and The Miracles a New York record that has nothing to do with the Detroit Group I think it was on Bobby Robinson's Fury label

That's the reason for Robinson as co-writer.

The cheapo CD is licensed from Charly and features the Miracles' name on the front. Silly them for forgetting to include the "Carl Hogan and" bit!!
