I was able (during one of my stopovers in the US) to see a PBS special a couple of months ago. Hosted by Jerry Butler, it featured countless artists, among them Thelma Houston, Chic, The Trammps, Blue Magic etc etc... I was just wondering since I haven't read anything about it on the web (maybe I didn't look in the right places!), if (and when) this show will be issued on DVD...? I know the one from the previous year was (a great one too)
Anybody got the inside info?
That show was amazing and the full orchestra supporting the artists was excellent...

Yes Stubass that was the one... I know I bought the doo-wop DVD in a store but the show was already a year old so maybe they'll release this show to the public too in a while... the thing is being in Europe it is sometimes hard to hear about such things... But I'll keep an eye open and maybe somebody here will let us all know...!
Thanks...

Wonder B - I think the show needs to make it's rounds on the PBS stations (plus options of PBS reruns) before they put the DVD into a retail outlet. It may take a year or so even though the DVD's have been manufactured.
