Someone passed this forum to me recently. Wow. I never knew this Website existed! I'm way out here in Seattle but a Detroit/Flint native.

I've setup a Funk Website dedicated to the Funk greats, including many of the Detroit Funk greats. I would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think. In particular I've been trying to get a hold of Coffey or some official booking information having found out he's still around after watching "Standing in the Shadows of Motown." we would love for him to make an appearance at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. And I would bet Starbucks would love to have him play a song or two, maybe do a commercial! Ha ha.

Check out any of the threads with Dennis' name on them. He drops in often and replies to questions. I'm sure he will respond to your post. Dennis is still playing his ass off and would be an asset to any musical discussion or appearence. Dennis and Starbucks sounds like HOT COFFEY to me! Would love to see that ad.
