I NOTICE HIS NAME POPS UP ON SEVERAL RECORDS AS EITHER WRITER/ARRANGER/PRODUCER .

He's also an artist--under the name The Chris Towns Unit, he cut a single for Port entitled "Turn to Me". Don't know of any other recordings he's done, but he has certainly garnered a lot of creds as an arranger.

Best,

Mark

Mark,
check out 'sop it up'on Cotillion Records by Chris Towns and the Townsmen.
I have had this since 1973/4 it was played on the scene,be it briefly,as it is a tricky instrumental to get to grips with.
Thus the dancefloor reaction wasnt to good, but a nice obscurity to have from yesteryear.
mel.
