What's with the "Pagoda House" on the north-east side of the isle? Anyone know the history? Beyond that about all I know is that during the early 60's the Naval Air Reserves had their offcies there. w/ and airport and fairly large landing strip

I have a friend with a home and a plane on the isle. He's invited me to fly with him, but I don't fly unless I have too. One of my brothers is a pilot, by the way.
