I know this probably has been covered in other threads that I did not see but I was wondering whether anyone knew what happened to the members of the Contours. When I was a kid, they were one of the most exciting groups I ever saw live. Of course we know what happened to Dennis Edwards but what about Gerald Green, Sylvester Potts, Council Gray, and Hughey Davis.

As far as I Know Sylvester Potts & Joe Billingslea still have the group and still work.I have not seen them in about 10 years.

Last time I spoke to Jay (Johnson) of the Diablos, 4 Sonics, etc. he mentioned that Sylvester Potts was still singing/performing with today's Contours. Sylvester sang with Jay in the 1970s Four Sonics group. The Four Sonics in the 70s at one time consisted of Jay Johnson, Bill Frazier, Vernon Williams (who sang with the Satintones, Royal Holidays, & Pyramids), & Sylvester Potts. Just wondering, has there been a Four Sonics thread on this forum?????????

Saw a Contours concert two or three years ago in Lansing. They were great! Don't miss it if you see them scheduled.
