On "The Way I Walk," Jack Scott often tells the story of how it came to be recorded... he says he felt that the song was lyrically unfinished, but the producers wanted him to go ahead and record it anyway... they needed a quick 12th song to round out his album... so the Chantones just filled in the blank spots with the "shoo-be-doo-be-doo-be-doo-be-doo-wahs"...
It was recorded at United Sound, by the way, as were all of Jack's 1957-1959 songs on ABC-Paramount and Carlton.
