Does anyone remember a funk 45 from the 70's with this title or something like it in the refrain? A James Brown/Ohio Plyers riff. (Not Doin' it to Death.) Need help locating artists/label.
Thanks,

Are you thinking of Herbie Hancock's 'Doin It'? It was on the "Secrets" lp from '75 or '76 ; I'm pretty sure that was on Columbia - it was one of Herbie's early funk efforts

Could it be the Blackbyrds " Do it, fluid" . A repeated phrase is "I like to party". 1974.
