Also have a look at www.thesoulofamsterdam.com I'm currently building a whole new website which I hope to present during summertime. Apart from my personal info the site will include interviews with forgotten and new soul/r&b acts/groups, reviews of old and new albums, concert photos, plus biography and a complete discography of Soul/R&B acts who have recorded between the late 70s to present date, including track list plus scans of LPs, 12", 7", CDs issued in any country that you can think of (only picture covers, no generic cover artwork). My hands hurt (from writing) and I've just bought my 3rd scanner (who have had to work overtime) :-)) Never the less it's going to look great and I hope the website will be a treasured addition to the many other soul sites available (the more soul sites the better!). Most of all I hope the site will help the youth of today because the samples used in todays music must have come from way back :-)) So that's... www.TheSoulofAmsterdam.com ;-) Please do keep on posting other soul music related websites. This is a very good idea. We need to know about as many soul related sites as possible. Here's a few good ones (although these also deal with other forms of music too) www.discomusic.com I've been a longtime member of the forum on this site and believe me - it's not all donna summer LOL. www.i80s.com I have moderator status this site, which is dedicated to the decade of big hair and Rayban shades. I'm constantly trying to get other members into the world of black music so obviously we have a r&b/soul/funk forum there. We sure could use some more input though. www.solarradio.com - after soul24-7 closed down, this is my fav radio station on the net. | ||
