Can anyone tell me if
Burgundy Records is
a Detroit Label
that had
'it's a miracle/crazy doctor'
on it(number 105)
by a group called
The Revelaires.
many thanks

yes it was a mid 50's Detroit label but I can't remember any details about it other than I had 3or 4 78's and a couple of the 45 versions of those including the one you list above.

Well spotted Mel.
What does Revelaires sound like?

Thanks Ron/David
the track by The Revelaires
to my knowledge was released around 1954 on the Burgundy Label.
The A Side
has a female lead
and is a nice ballad,
it reminds me in parts of the classic
'wheel of fortune'
by The Cardinals.
The flip-side
is an uptempo number
with a nice steady beat to it
quite heavy in parts
and has a lovely wailing
Tenor Sax on it.
regards
mel.

Hey Mel-o-dee;
How about "Wheel Of Fortune" by Little Jimmy Scott Decca 1950! Just kidding but it was first. ..Smile...
