How about a listing of songs with contributions from the very talented WIllie Hutch? I recall that he at least at times was a member of the writing/production team "The Corporation". Corrrect me if I'm wrong, but I think some of his collabs include:
I Want You Back
ABC
Never Can Say Goodbye (prod)
I'll Be There
Mama's Pearl
Maybe Tomorrow
Bless You (Martha/Vandellas)
Also does anyone remember one of my favorites. It was to my knowledge only on album:
"Don'tcha Let Nobody (Tell You How To Do Your Thing)
I also recall a gem called "I Wanted To Be A Rock & Roll Star"
I think these were both on his "Mark Of The Beast". Has this been released on CD?? HW??

I haven't heard my "In tune" album in a long time, but one my favourite lines is on there...
"If I had it would you play it?.......Man Yeah!"
Thanks Willie Hutch.

About time Willie Hutch got a mention!!!
Loved his work.
Loving you gets better with time, one of my all time fav ballads.
Brothers gonna work it out.
There was some really smokin stuff on that lp. I went to see the movie just because of the sound track.

I just read that there's a 'Best of' just released (certainly here in UK) on Expansion entitled 'Try it,you'll like it - the best of Willie Hutch'.
Covers 1969-82 through his RCA,Motown and Whitfield days......Looks good to me.

Des it is excellent and I'd recommend it to anyone. It also includes a previously unreleased track, 'I'm Gonna Give You Respect' recorded in 72

For the record (pun not intended), "I'm Gonna Give You Respect" was also just about my favorite cut on G.C. CAMERON's excellent Motown solo lp from the same period. It was produced by Willie and featured him and MARVIN joining G.C. on DYNAMITE background vocals.
Haven't heard it in years (gotta hook up my new turntable soon). Definitely one of my FAVORITES!
Still often sing it in the shower!
HEY! Can ya start the WATER, Hon?? I feel a SONG coming on!!
