Theres a CD of dubious origin (almost certainly) about on the UK soul scene at present. This contains a number of cuts that are currently popular with the MS set.
One of these tracks is Keith Barrow's "I Put The Twinkle In Your Eye".
I havn't had time to pull out my KB 45's or the 1 LP of his I have ....so can anyone tell me if this was one of his cuts that Bobby Eli had a hand in ???
(other tracks on the CD include cuts by the likes of Reffa, Karen Pree, Ronnie McNeir and Jo Armstead).

Yes that is one of mine and it is on the Keith Barrow album, the first on on Columbia.

I've found out the info on the CD.
It isn't of dubious origin but almost certainly properly sourced (licensed) tracks. It will be out on the UK Expansion label in about 3 weeks.

Eli I recently obtained a Japan import CD of Keith Barrow from CD UNIVERSE. I did not know that you wrote Mr. Magic Man. Cold Dude Eli! I enjoy the songs "Teach Me", "Precious," and "A World Of Lonely People". What a pleasant find. Great production. How many albums did you produce for Keith Barrow? Yoyoshep.

Keith was a very dynamic performer, and had he lived, he eventually would have become a force to be recconed with.

He was always the life of the party everywhere he went.

I was blessed to have known and worked with him.
He was 22 when I produced him and he passed at age 27.

I will post some nice personal photos of him soon.
