Yesterday, I just enjoyed listening to my Supremes cds at work. When I'm listening on my headphones, I am in my own little world and no one else is there. From "Buttered Popcorn" to "I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking", that two cd set brought me much joy. I found myself hitting replay several times. Thank You to the Gordys, the Funk Brothers & other musicians, writers, producers & most importantly the SUPREMES:Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, Cindy Birdsong,Jean Terrell, Lynda Laurence, Susaye Greene & Scherrie Payne & anybody else in Detroit that had anything to do with making this Jammin' Music, it is MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of those songs, I hadn't heard since I was very young, not that I'm old now, but it just seems like it's been awhile (LOL), I too have a birthday coming up in a week! I have seen someone use Patti Labelle's name while posting on another site and was not pleased at all, because even though I don't know Patti personally, the things that this person was saying, Patti would never say.
