A forum member Mark Speck, informed us on another thread that fellow member Lynn Bruce was a bit under the weather. I don't know if this has been done before, but, I hope that everyone will say hi & wish him well. His upbeat & positive attitude moved me to start this thread. I appreciate his outlook, & his words help to give some real perspective about what's truly important in life. I applaud him for his positive outlook & grace under fire. If ever I should face adversity, I hope to have Lynns' courage & grace. Thanks Lynn for the reality check & may God bless you! Thank you Mark for bringing it to our attention.

Don't know how active you are, but on a TV tip, ya got the NCAA's to check out instead of the usual Sunday fare...and if you have cable, Bravo's just started a new series about couples called Significant Others, that repeats at 7 and 7:30 Sunday that's helping me recover from the lost of Curb on HBO.

Keep the Detroit info coming in.I was to close to the action and busy playing and don,t know a quarter of the info you have about the Detroit sound. A lot of the Detroit musicians worked 6 nights a week in clubs and most of us had mondays off so we didn,t see each others bands except maybe at a jam session.

I never knew you had leukemia, Lynn. You know one of my friends, who was a senior, died last year of leukemia. I guess hers was the more critical kind. The good thing is that you're doing a little better these days. You're not the only one who's been a little under the weather. SoulSister and DyvaNaye have been sick, too. I hope all three of y'all have a speedy recovery.

BTW, when are you going to Cancun? I want to get out of geometry class. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
