I know Jimmy made around 5 records for Ollie, but he also had an early 70s release which I have somewhere in Canadian basement. Can someone please help me out and give me the title etc?
Thanks, Graham

Hi chaps, I have listed (but sadly don't own) the following:
Eastbound - Jimmy Delphs - Country Girl
Man - Jimmy Delphs - Do You Know What I Mean
When I find a reference to some new record from a sales list, I try and keep the price too. The prices listed along with the above two are £8 and £6 respectively. No doubt those figures are history though! Sadly I don't have any more info about these records!

Any theories as to why "Dancin' a Hole in the World" is so hard to get, as opposed to his other sides for Ollie Mac?
Best,
Mark

I think it was only released as a promo' Mark.
The Esquires also recorded it, but it's nowhere near as good.

Here's the details of Jimmy's Eastbound 45;
#600 (the first on the label)
Country Girl/Mind Going In The Same Direction
This reminds me that I have two missing Eastbound label numbers. Does anyone have details on releases 606 and 629?
I think Dancing A Hole In The World is scarce because it was the very last release on the Carla label. I guess it got buried.

The Eastbound single was produced by Mike
Theodore - Dennis Coffey. "Country Girl" was
written by Ronnie Shannon. Released late '72

Thanks Davie G.
Mmmm... I wonder if Dennis can tell us anything?
