Every now and then I'll read something here that will spark my memory about an artist or a form of music. Do you all remember Eddy Grant? He had several hits beginning in the late 70's and on through the 80"s [[Walking On Sunshine, Electric Avenue, etc.) Here's one that famed Detroit DJ, "Electrifying Mojo" use to give an extended work out on his late night program on 107.5 W

"Do you feel My Love" is one of my all time favourite reggea tracks- Ive had a couple of people in the last year ask me to play "Electric Avenue" for them

Thank you so much Pshark! You ALWAYS come through with the good stuff! This is making me nostalgic for the early 80's and how good Detroit radio was at that time.

Eddy has lived in Barbados for many years now though he sometimes makes a trip back to the UK.
I have friends on the island that know him & have asked them to try to organise a visit for me [[when I'm there) to Eddy's home studio but so far things haven't worked out to enable this to happen.
He released a couple of highly collectable 45's [[by other artists) on his Ice label in its later years of operation in the UK.
