I thought her performance was poorly done and reeked of desperation to prove she’s no longer a Disney Princess. But she succeeded on one front: Everyone is talking about her. Lady Gaga must be livid.

I agree. Madonna did almost the same thing 20 something years ago in wedding dress and became an international star. Miley knew what she was doing...causing a sensation. Miley's not much different from most young and not so young women [[ and not women) in the business these days. It's all about attention and they'll do anything to get it. She's just trying as hard as she can to shred her childhood and though I know she has every right it bugs me a bit
only because my nieces were big Hannah Montana fans. Ahhh.... but time stops for no one.
