I just remembered a story Bobby Eli told once on this site and it's believable. There was a barbershop in Philly called Sly's were everyone went to get their "processes" professionally done and that Len Barry used to go there. As I look at the album cover of that video and see the waves in his hair, that story is quite believable. Len probably only had to get a mild relaxer to get those waves.

Greetings SD family,
Len Barry and I to this day remain good friends.
We call each other very often.
We are in production with another good friend, BOBBY ELI.
Who also is a friend, he and Lenny are back writing together.
Back to 1,2,3, Somewhere Like A Baby ,etc.
We [[ THE TYMES & THE COOKIES ) are singing background on all of those songs.
