So very nice!!! I had always associated this with The Marvelettes. Didn't know The Devastating Miss M and The Vandellas did a version too. I actually prefer Martha's clear bell tone delivery to Wanda Young's... And what can I say about those background harmonies from the Vandellas---wow!!!

A big ol high five to whoever the producer/arranger was who gave this track that really cool 1950s/early 1960s Doo Wop feel. Maybe it was all three, Holland, Dozier and Gorman... Whoever it was they've had me humming this song for hours now.

This song was released several years ago on the Motown Sings Motown Treasures - it's a great release if you haven't picked it up.
