Up to the time that they canned Florence, her mike and Mary's were always set at quite audible levels -- at least when I saw them in August of 1966 and in February of 1967. Once the act morphed into DRATS, that all changed. The three times I saw them later, when they were billed as DRATS, you could barely hear Mary and Cindy most of the time, and in some numbers you could not hear them at all. [[Their lips were moving so I just assumed they were singing in those spots!) It was pretty distressing.

I saw Diana Ross & the Supremes in 1968 and besides being a fantastic show Mary & Cindy were a BIG part of it & sounded loud & real. What was really cool...the unadvertised opening act was Gladys Knight & the Pips! Most of all the other LIVE shows at the Orlando Sports Stadium had mediocre sound at best but that night the sound was GREAT.You knew it was MOTOWN.

You can hear it any time you want if you buy I Hear A Symphony expanded. Most of us have heard this already. The video was nice though.
