I remember this the first time it aired. She sounded great and looked great. That MCA album should have been a huge hit

I now have a whole new level of respect for Miss Reeves! This performance is nothing short of FANTASTIC. She looks good. Sounds incredible and sings her tush off. Very impressive!!

she sounds excellent here. this really was a superb album. i do have to say though that Martha live always seems to be missing something, visually. sometimes she appears really into it. other times she really has a dead expression

This is definitely live - not lip syncing to her own track - so why do you think "Ain't That Peculiar" still has a weird fade and not a final chord ending? I'm sure it's not the album track, especially since Martha does flub some of the words [[she fails to sing "why do lies make my long stronger" in two places), but the awkward attempt at a fade out makes me wonder.

She was sure in excellent voice. I saw her a few times live back then. I do agree with the other comment, sometimes she didn't really put on a show, other times she was really into it. But what a beautiful voice.

The first Lady on Motown Records Dr Martha Reeves was is and always will be the greatest star to ever come out of Motown Record. Miss Martha never gives a bad show and always give 125% on stage. When i think of motown I always think of Dr Martha Reeves.
