Ahhh...my introduction to Four Tops - the first time read their name, saw them, and singin' something that sounds like "It's The Same Old Song"....for years, I've also thought they were singin' "Same Old Sign" hahaha. Only years later, when tunin' on to oldies FM, I listen, even have fun, with "I Can't Help Myself" and "Same Old Song", but I've first instantly remembers them as Velveeta.

No, they've done other commercials before. They did one for a beverage where the guys were dressed in polar bears or snowmen suits for part of it. I have to look for it.

The Velveeta commercial is superb [[even IF Velveeta the yellow cheese-like product is vomitacious) - this horrid thing with The Fake Tops? ROTFLMAO!!! I wouldn't buy that pizza to save Sum Ting Wong! And WTF is Duke Fakir? No one knows who he is - what a scream. They shooda given Mary the lead on this - she sounds more like Levi than this dud and she's prolly over at Duke's anyway! hehehe

All the commercials posted in this thread are pretty sad and pathetic. A shame the 4 Tops sold out like that, but I guess they had to do what they had to do and it won’t mar the legacy. That being said, there’s no excuse for Motown Maniac’s message which to me is borderline if not outright racism.
