I had never heard the single version of T'ain't Nobody's Business. I knew the album edit from the LSTB soundtrack, but was surprised there was more to the record than I thought. It was an unsual single choice for Motown/MOWEST but it probably got some radio play because of the film's popularity. My parents have a white label promo. Was there a commercial release. Also been playing Blinky's You Got A Tangle In Your Lifeline. Good stuff!! All I could find on YouTube was the album edit at just over a minute. The promo single is around 2:29.

I am surprised that one of the Motown endorsed labels has not done a Blinky release. With all respect to Patrice Holloway, The Monitors, The Satintones, and others --- wouldn't Blinky haves sales as good as they did?

Of course, my continued puzzle is why there is no Thelma Houston Motown anthology with rarities.

Here's the song by Blinky Williams. She sounds somewhat like Mary Wilson did at that time [[the early 70's):

That was the album edit, the single is longer and there is no movie dialogue on the record.
