Are the tracks on these sets from the UK original recordings or re-recordings?

The 3-cd set Be My Baby and the follow-up set Be My Baby 2 both contain original recordings. Sound samples for both sets are available on the Amazon UK website. These sets are put out by Sony UK and they are a combination of music owned by Sony and music that has been cross licensed. It used to be that you never found any Phil Spector material [[Ronettes, Crystals, Darlene Love ) on oldies anthologies but that's changed since 2010 when Sony got the rights to all of the Phillies label material except the Righteous Brothers.

I have no information on the other set you inquired about.

Thanks NBS. The other set is Dreamboats & Petticoats- the Petticoats Collection. I did hear one tracks on YouTube. It was a re-recording of Needle In A Haystack.
