He may be located in the U.K. but the photo's are not from the U.K., I see James J. Kreigsman photo's, etc...
Some people pose as fans and get press kit photo's from the Artists than scan and sell them.
I've seen other press photo's of Jimmy like the one here, where we gave out hundreds....then the person sells the photo on ebay as a rare 1960's photo of Jimmy Scott, when in fact the photo is neither rare or from the 1960's it was actually taken in 2000! Some were selling for as much as $75.00 a piece not including shipping.
This is both a "rip-off" to the public and to the Artists!! Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

Soul Sister, you are correct. I do see photos that are from noted photograpers and have since been sold on Ebay. Note in my post I didn't say they were originals LOL.

Please note: I have no info on any of the sellers and am not making any endorsement regarding purchases. The warnings in the preceding posts sound wise to me and worthy of consideration.

My posting of the link to the photos is strickly to share the pictures I stumbled upon. I certainly enjoyed seeing several for the first time.

I noticed on that page that they claim some group called "The Kittens" to be Motown artists. Never heard of them before.

Marv - From what I know, The Kittens were from Chicago and had recorded for ABC Records and Chess Records. And that they had recorded some tunes by Ashford-Simpson-Armstead.

I think this tune recorded by The Kittens from 1968--HOW LONG [[CAN I GO ON)--is very good. They have a good sound and an awfully good lead singer--Bernice Willis--whose voice brings to mind--just slightly--Brenda Holloway. Thelma Mack & Laurel Ross rounded out the group.

Did you see the pic of the fake Marvelettes and there is a picture that says Bobby Womack but it looks to me like Edwin Starr?

Ryon - I'll have to look for the Bobby Womack-Edwin Starr mix-up. That 'Marvelettes' photo certainly jumped out at me--and made me groan.
