"I Want You Around" was really kinda a demo. Remember at the time, Smokey was a member of the Miracles, they didn't become Smokey Robinson & the Miracles professionally until about '67, so average fans at the time might not have known who Smokey Robinson was.Marvin Gayes' career really took off after he was paired with Mary & I think their voices really went well together...TOGETHER, LOL

Luke is always late on these things. Although I Want You Round is a demo, it still shows how Mary Wells & Smokey Robinson sounded together.
