Where were the sessions for all the songs released, and did any funk brothers play on any of them?

The Funk Brothers definitely played on some of the sessions, maybe the earlier ones?

Not all songs were released. There is a known unreleased version of 'Want Ads' by Glass House, and supposedly, an entire album of unreleased material by Brenda Holloway [[for Music Merchant).
