I had a kid in my glee club this year who wanted to perform Daybreak. When he came to me with the idea, I thought: "God, what the hell does he want to sing that crap for?" But we came up with an arrangement that combines Daybreak with New World Coming. We found out Daybreak kind of rips off New World...and when the glee club performs it, it brings down the house everytime. Related note: Bette Midler's Do You Wanna Dance is a forgotten classic. It's sexy as hell. Thom Bell did the arrangement. I think Manilow played on it.
